The lodge is constructed from stone and local timber and has been built around clusters of large boulders. Harmoniously merging with its surroundings you will be enthralled with stunning views of the Serengeti and the migration. Being set on the migratory route for over 1 million wildebeest in their desperate struggle for survival it is the first lodge you will encounter when traveling from Kenya to Tanzania and is only 28 kilometres from the Maasai Mara.
A waterhole below the lodge attracts a variety of wildlife during the day and it is lit each evening, revealing an array of inquisitive nocturnal animals that will delight you with their antics.
The lodges 75 elegant guestrooms offer superb views of this unbelievable natural phenomenon, and the sumptuous pool is situated on the very edge of the rock, offering uninterrupted views of the horizon. The rooms are elegantly decorated in authentic traditional African style and the rooms are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms that have shower attachments and bathtubs.
