Moshi is well known for its coffee bean production. Coffee plantations are found in the town and on the foothills of Kilimajaro. Sugar plantations are also central to Moshi’s economy.
Moshi has a tropical wet and dry climate. April and May are the wettest months. Clearest and warmest months are from December to March. It is dry and also much colder from June to September.
